Home Nursing Visits today for Flu vaccines 😊This morning was a little different, I arrived to work to prep for my flu clinic for the housebound. Nice to see patients in the comfort of their own homes, although some incredibly sad situations. We are told not to take our shoes off due to Infection control but some of these houses are so beautiful it would be so rude not to. I am lucky to work with such beautiful people, one of our sectaries came along for administration support, really enjoy chatting to her. She has older children, and we had a good natter about what the world is like now. I love the unpredictability of being a nurse, today was in and out to vaccinate, I know I sometimes end up taking to much time with patients but that is ok, I came back to clinic with a list of requests and jobs I needed to follow up on. Being able to go that extra mile and save them the time of waiting in a queue to request, or things that they would not have bothered asking about until it become to late makes how hard I have worked worth it.
